Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but no one has to navigate them alone. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas, I am committed to walking alongside my clients with care, compassion, and understanding as they work toward healing and growth.

Originally from South Africa, I moved to the United States at 40, embracing the opportunity to embark on a new chapter—one that deepened my passion for helping others. Before pursuing a career in counseling, I worked extensively in education, providing training at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and serving as a language content specialist for Pearson Education Publishers. These experiences gave me valuable insight into the profound impact that life experiences have on a person’s ability to learn, adapt, and thrive.

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and have received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My clinical experience has primarily focused on supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, helping them move forward with strength and resilience.

Creating a safe, supportive space for my clients is at the heart of my practice. I believe that healing is possible for everyone, and my goal is to provide guidance and encouragement as individuals work through life’s difficulties toward restoration and renewed hope.

On a personal note, my husband and I love spending time outdoors, and we share our home with two beloved dachshunds, Levi and Jasmine. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve others in this profession and consider it a privilege to walk alongside those seeking healing and growth.
